though it may seem intimidating at first, the process for posting your images on the forum is really quite simple. here, i will walk through the two most commonly used ways of getting your pictures and screenshots up for all to see.
first and most common: hosting and posting.
this method is the most frequently used. you choose a third party hosting site. there are many. personally, i use Photobucket. it's never let me down. but if you don't wish to use photobucket you can simply google "free image hosting" and you will find a plethora of other options.
the process:
1. choose hosting site (you will need to create an account if you do not have one)
2. upload your chosen images onto your host site.
3. after uploading you will see options for sharing photo. it will look similar to this:
don't i look tough?
4. where i have circled in yellow is what we are looking for. that is image code for bbc type forums. if you use Photobucket like me, when you click on the address it automatically copies it for you. one way or another you must copy that link. including the tags.
5. pasting and submitting reply is the last step of this method. once you have your url copied you simply paste it into the reply box on the forum. once pasted you simply just submit your message in the normal fashion.
if you are unsure you did it right you can preview what the finished product looks like by clicking the "preview message" button. this will allow you to see any mistakes made before you actually post the image and give your a chance to correct them. thereby evading the shame and embarrasment of mutiple posts displaying your failure.
